About
Built for training together
Every workout timer we could find was built for one person. You start your clock, your friend starts theirs, and the two drift apart within a minute. Comparing scores afterwards means trusting that everyone really did start at the same moment and really did count the same way.
AMRAP With Friends puts everyone on one clock. The host sets the mission, shares a rally link, and every phone that opens it counts down together — reconciled in real time so no device runs ahead. Rounds are logged with a single tap and the leaderboard updates while you are still working.
Who built it
Justin Fassio — a certified Master Fitness Trainer and Commander's Total Fitness Program Manager since 1998, who owned San Diego Core Fitness and co-founded gymgo and aiworkoutgenerator.com.
Programming physical training for a whole unit means everybody trains at once, in the same time, and nobody gets left behind. That is the problem this app solves, and it is where the tactical language across the site comes from.
What you get
- A synced countdown. One clock for the whole crew, whether you are in the same gym or three time zones apart.
- A live leaderboard. Log a round with one tap and watch the board move.
- A real workout library. Programmed AMRAPs across 5, 10, 15 and 20 minute time domains, with coaching cues for every movement.
- Campaigns. Multi-week programmes that open with a benchmark workout and retest it later, so you can see whether the work actually moved the number.
Start a mission
Setting one up takes about a minute, and the people you invite do not need an account to join.
