Privacy

What we store

• Your account. If you sign in, we store the email address you signed in with, so we can recognise you next time.
• Your athlete profile. The details you enter yourself — your name, and the body metrics used to scale workouts and calculate scores. You choose what to enter and can change it at any time.
• Your training record. The missions you run, the rounds you log, and the scores calculated from them.
• Product usage events. Which screens get used and which actions get taken, so we can tell what is working. Grouped by the browser id described below, and by your account if you are signed in.
• How you found us. The site that linked you here — the site's name, such as google.com, never the full address you came from — any campaign tag in the link you clicked, and which page you landed on. Recorded once, the first time this browser arrives, so we can tell which pages and links bring people who actually train.

What your browser stores

A small amount of data stays on your device rather than on our servers: your sign-in session, your light or dark theme preference, the browser id, a note of how you first arrived, and a token that lets you rejoin a mission you have already joined. Clearing your browser data removes all of it.

Your browser id

When you open the app — or read one of our workout, exercise or guide pages — this browser can keep a random id so we can tell that the same browser came back. It is the same id across both, which is how we can tell that someone who read a workout page later trained with us. It is not your name, and it is not required to train — you can join a mission, log rounds, and finish without it.

We use it only to send product usage events: which screens and pages get used, that the app is open, and how you first arrived. Those events are write-only — the site sends them; it does not show you a log of them. We do not use it to build an advertising profile, and there are no third-party advertising or analytics trackers on this site.

If you create an account or sign in on this browser, we may associate the id with your account so we can tell that this browser signed up. If you never sign in, it stays unlinked.

Clearing this site's data from your browser removes the id. The next time you open the app, a new one may be created. Events we already received are not undone by that.

Your privacy choices

You can turn the browser id off here at any time, whether or not we asked you. Turning it off deletes the id and the note of how you arrived from this device, and we go on counting pages without an id. Events we already received are not undone by that.

Who else sees it

Other athletes in a mission you join can see the name on your profile and your score on the leaderboard — that is what a shared leaderboard is. Beyond that, we do not sell your data and we do not share it with advertisers. Our hosting and database providers process it on our behalf in order to run the service.

Deleting your data
